Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit hosted by Doha on Monday. During the meeting, they focused on enhancing cooperation between their countries and addressing regional developments, especially the recent Israeli attack that targeted Doha.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to protect its security and maintain sovereignty in response to the Israeli attack. The Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan expressed solidarity with Qatar, condemning the attack as a breach of Qatar’s sovereignty and international law.
