Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call today with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi. The call focused on discussing bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance it, as well as addressing recent regional developments, particularly the Israeli attack on Iranian territory.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the Israeli attack, describing it as a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security, and a clear breach of international law. He expressed Qatar’s deep concern over the escalation, highlighting the threat it poses to regional security and stability. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve issues through dialogue.
His Excellency called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations to urgently halt Israeli violations. He underscored the need for collective action to prevent further escalation and to support peaceful resolutions in the region.
