New york: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani participated today in the joint ministerial meeting of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United States of America. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on the latest developments in the Middle East, with particular attention to the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. The meeting aimed to explore ways to de-escalate tension in the region through dialogue and diplomatic solutions.
