New york: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions centered on reviewing bilateral relations between the two nations. Both ministers emphasized enhancing cooperation and took the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The meeting also addressed several topics of common interest. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region through dialogue and peaceful means.
