President of Syria Arrives in Doha for Emergency Summit

Doha: HE President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa arrived in Doha on Monday to take part in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held today. HE the President and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic to the State of Qatar Dr. Bilal Tourkiya.

According to Qatar News Agency, the summit aims to address pressing issues facing the Arab and Islamic world. President Al Sharaa’s participation underscores Syria’s engagement in regional dialogues and cooperation efforts. The summit provides a platform for leaders from various nations to discuss collective strategies and responses to current challenges.
