The Qatar Creates initiative serves as a comprehensive national platform connecting various cultural and creative institutions and events, contributing to Doha's emergence as a global center for arts and culture.
Design Doha supports designers and creators from the Arab region, building networks of cooperation and knowledge exchange. Al Rumaihi explained that participation in international events like the Islamic Arts Biennale in Jeddah and Dubai Design Week reflects an important shift in presenting Arab culture to the world, emphasizing contemporary production in arts and design.
Qatar Museums play a pivotal role by building cultural partnerships and organizing exhibitions that enhance the exchange of experiences among Arab countries. This fosters a diverse contemporary Arab cultural discourse, with museums exchanging exhibitions, collections, and educational programs to consolidate Arab culture as a shared space of multiple voices.
