President of the France-Qatar Friendship Group in the French National Assembly MP Pascal Brindeau thanked the decisive efforts made by the State of Qatar, which resulted in success in reaching a ceasefire agreement in the occupied Palestinian territories.
“As President of the France-Qatar Friendship Group in the National Assembly, I salute the decisive action of the State of Qatar in negotiating and obtaining a ceasefire between Gaza and Israel,” MP Pascal Brindeau tweeted.
He expressed pleasure that this decisive act was welcomed by the United Nations and the European Union, stressing that the State of Qatar has demonstrated, in this action, its determination to stand as a guarantor of peace.
The France-Qatar Friendship Group in the French National Assembly includes 37 parliamentarians representing various parties in France.
