Doha: The Department of Meteorology has warned of poor horizontal visibility both inshore and offshore on Saturday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the department's daily weather report indicates that inshore conditions until 6:00 pm on Saturday will be misty to foggy at first, followed by moderate to relatively hot temperatures during the daytime with some clouds. Weather conditions are expected to become relatively cold by night.
Offshore, conditions will be misty to foggy initially, becoming hazy with some clouds at times.
Inshore winds will be variable at first, shifting to southeasterly to southwesterly at 05-15 KT, while offshore winds will be variable, shifting to southeasterly to southwesterly 03-13 KT.
Sea conditions inshore will range between 1 and 2 feet, while offshore seas will be between 1 and 3 feet.
Visibility inshore is expected to range between 4 and 9 kilometers, dropping to 2 kilometers or less in some areas at first. Offshore visibility will range between 4 and 9 kilometers, decreasing to 2 kilometers or less initially.
