Plane Crash Claims Three Lives in Southeastern Switzerland

Doha: A small plane crashed in the Alps in southeastern Switzerland today, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Extra EA-400 propeller plane took off from the Samedan airfield with a destination set for Denmark. The aircraft crashed merely two minutes after takeoff.

Local police reported that the plane went down on the edge of the village of La Punt Chamues-ch and subsequently caught fire, resulting in the tragic loss of all three passengers on board.

The identities of the deceased and the cause of the crash remain under investigation.
