Doha: The Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (APF) has conveyed a message of deep solidarity with Qatar in response to recent Iranian attacks. This message was directed to the Speaker of the Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, by APF General Delegate Amelia Lakrafi, acknowledging the emotional impact and insecurity caused by the explosions in Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, Her Excellency Amelia Lakrafi articulated the APF's sympathy for the families affected by the incidents, emphasizing the broader implications on regional stability and security. She underscored the critical nature of peace and stability in the region.
Lakrafi highlighted the APF's commitment to political dialogue, peaceful cooperation, and adherence to international law. She stressed the importance of dialogue, de-escalation, and political negotiations to prevent further conflict and protect civilian lives.
