Palestinian Rescue Teams Recover 8 Palestinian Bodies After Gaza City Bombing

Doha: Palestinian rescue teams in the Gaza Strip recovered Tuesday, from under the rubble of a house in Gaza City, the bodies of 8 Palestinians who were killed as a result of a previous bombing by Israeli occupation aircraft.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Civil Defense authorities in Gaza stated that some of the bodies were in advanced stages of decomposition, while others were reduced to mere remains, due to being trapped under the rubble for an extended period.

The Civil Defense confirmed that rescue teams will resume search operations at the same site tomorrow. They aim to recover the bodies of eight more individuals, who remain missing and are believed to be under the rubble of the destroyed house.

Civil defense and ambulance crews persist in their efforts to recover bodies from targeted sites across the Gaza Strip. These operations face significant challenges due to widespread destruction and a lack of heavy equipment necessary to reach those trapped beneath the debris.

Earlier today, Palestinians in Gaza held a national funeral for the bodies and remains of 112 individuals from one family, killed in an Israeli massacre on November 22, 2023. This massacre marked the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip and its inhabitants.
