Doha: One Palestinian was killed and two others were injured on Saturday as Israeli attacks continued across the Gaza Strip, according to medical officials in Gaza.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources said an Israeli drone strike targeted a group of Palestinians near the entrance to the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing one person and wounding two others.
The occupation military also continued artillery shelling and demolition operations in eastern parts of the territory, while military vehicles opened fire toward the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the sources said.
The same sources reported that more than 980 Palestinians have been killed and about 3,120 injured since a cease-fire was announced in October. They added that the overall death toll from the Israeli military campaign in Gaza since October 2023 has risen to nearly 73,000, with more than 173,000 people wounded.
