Dattakhel: The Pakistani army reported Wednesday that 14 militants were killed during a security operation in the country’s northwest.
According to Qatar News Agency, the operation was carried out based on intelligence reports after militants were spotted in Dattakhel town, located in North Waziristan, within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Military forces engaged in clashes with the militants, resulting in their elimination.
The army has intensified its operations in recent months to track down armed groups in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, successfully neutralizing dozens of militants.
