Pakistan and Iran signed Thursday cooperation documents and memorandums of understanding with the aim of increasing trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The two countries also signed, in the presence of the Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian, the documents and memorandums related to the 5-year extension of the Trade Cooperation Program, the summary of the third meeting of the joint investment committee, and the third meeting of the joint banking committee and economic cooperation.
The Iranian foreign minister is visiting Islamabad, where he will meet later with Pakistani officials.
