Blida: One person was killed Tuesday in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the town of Blida, southern Lebanon. This incident marks the second attack by Israeli forces in Lebanon today.
According to Qatar News Agency, the first attack occurred earlier in the city of Bint Jbeil, where another drone strike on a vehicle resulted in one death. These attacks come despite a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024. The agreement stipulates the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days.
However, Israeli occupation forces remain stationed in five locations and continue their operations, which are viewed as violations of the ceasefire agreement. The continued presence and actions of Israeli forces have raised concerns about the stability of the region and the effectiveness of the ceasefire.
