Bint jbeil: One person was killed Monday in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that one person was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in the southern Lebanese city of Bint Jbeil, adding that four other people were injured in the airstrike.
According to Qatar News Agency, a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon went into effect on November 27, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days.
The Beirut government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until February 18. However, the Israeli army remained at five points and continued its violations, exceeding 3,000 since the ceasefire went into effect, according to official Lebanese sources.
