The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced the arrest of three wanted persons on charges of drug trafficking, one of whom is a foreigner, in Najaf.
A statement by the Agency stated: "The wanted persons were arrested red-handed, based on accurate information, and half a kilogram of narcotic crystal and a quantity of narcotic pills were seized in their possession."
It added, "The wanted persons confessed explicitly to drug trafficking and promotion."
The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency called on citizens to report outlaws by calling the toll-free hotline 144.
