Occupation Police Assault Worshipers at Hatta Gate in Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli occupation police assaulted on Friday dawn dozens of worshipers, who tried to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque, to perform the Fajr prayer.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation police prevented young men under the age of 40 from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, and beat them at the gate of Hatta, one of the mosque's gates, as well as the owners of stalls and vendors at the gates of Al-Aqsa.

The occupation forces, backed by members of the special units, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque at 7:00 am and spread in its squares under the pretext of securing the settlers' incursions into Al-Aqsa, while the occupation forces removed the "Murabeteen" from the vicinity of the Al-Qibli Mosque.

After the deployment of the occupation forces in the courtyards of the Haram, the occupation authorities opened the Mughrabi Gate for settlers' incursions, which come on the occasion of the "Jewish Passover" holiday.
