Nottingham Forest Extends Contract of Nigerian Defender Ola Aina Until 2028

Nottingham: Nottingham Forest have announced the extension of Nigerian defender Ola Aina’s contract for three more seasons, keeping him at the club until 2028.

According to Qatar News Agency, the club confirmed that Aina, who delivered standout performances last season, will continue his journey with the team in pursuit of greater achievements. The club expressed its ambition to improve upon last season’s performance, which saw Nottingham Forest finish seventh in the English Premier League.

Aina joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2023 from Italian side Torino. The 27-year-old defender played a key role in the team’s campaign, starting 35 of the 38 league matches.

Over the course of the season, Aina made a total of 59 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists, cementing his position as a vital part of the squad.
