Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) is celebrating Qatar Infection Prevention and Control Week (QIPC) from 19 to 25 October, under the theme “Together we Stand UPPP (Unite, Prevent, Protect, Prevail) for Infection Prevention”. In collaboration with the healthcare sector and its partners, the Ministry has organized a range of important activities and events. One of the key highlights is the Annual Conference for Qatar Infection Prevention and Control Week, which will be held virtually on Sunday, 19 October 2025, with participation from international, regional, and local experts.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conference will serve as a platform for professionals to exchange knowledge and expertise in a collaborative environment aimed at promoting the safety of healthcare for all. The Ministry of Public Health has extended invitations to all infection prevention specialists, leaders, and healthcare workers to join the activities inspired by the International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) 2025.
The initiative focuses on raising awareness across health institutions and organizations and aims to strengthen infection prevention and control practices throughout all healthcare facilities in the State of Qatar.
