MOEHE Concludes Second Seerah Competition in Collaboration with Eadad International Academy

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), through its Private Education Affairs Sector, successfully concluded the second edition of the Prophet's Biography Competition for private schools. The event, organized in partnership with Eadad International Academy, saw the participation of 200 male and female students from 97 private schools spanning different educational levels. His Excellency the Ministry's Undersecretary Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi was present at the event.

According to Qatar News Agency, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs Omar Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi highlighted the significance of embedding the teachings of the Prophet's biography in students' education. During the ceremony honoring the winning teams and schools, he emphasized its role as a practical guide and comprehensive lifestyle framework for addressing contemporary challenges. Al Nuaimi expressed optimism that the noble values of the Seerah, including honesty, mercy, patience, and good conduct, would become integral to students' daily lives and interactions.

The competition aimed to instill noble Islamic values derived from the Prophet's biography in students through educational methods that blend knowledge, creativity, and positive competition. It emphasized the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a role model and revisited key historical events such as the Isra and Mi'raj, the Conquest of Mecca, and several battles. These narratives were used to impart lessons and insights on the Prophet's conduct in both peace and war.
