Doha: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) today organized a sports event at the Diplomatic Club on the occasion of the 14th edition of the National Sports Day, under the slogan “Never Too Late”, with the participation of HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi and a number of diplomats, officials and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their families.
According to Qatar News Agency, the program included football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, shooting, archery, cycling, in addition to a number of traditional games and other activities. The message of this year’s Sports Day, “Never Too Late”, aims to encourage more individuals and community groups to engage in sports, emphasizing that there is always time for everyone to participate in sports activities, regardless of work or family commitments.
