Pretoria: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met on Wednesday with Chairman of the MTN Group, Mcebisi Jonas, during her current visit to South Africa. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between government institutions and major corporations to advance digital infrastructure in developing countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on leveraging the expertise of MTN Group in telecommunications to enhance digital connectivity and infrastructure in regions that lack robust digital frameworks. The collaboration aims to facilitate access to digital services and promote economic growth through improved communication networks.
