Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Engages with Saudi Vice Foreign Minister in Riyadh

Riyadh: the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met with HE Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji. During their meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to support and strengthen cooperation across various fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the officials also discussed regional developments, focusing on the recent agreement between the United States and Iran, and the situations in Syria, Sudan, and Somalia. They expressed satisfaction with the agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran to cease military operations and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, viewing it as a significant step towards sustainable peace and economic growth both regionally and internationally.

The meeting concluded with both parties reiterating their support for efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and stability. They emphasized the importance of finding sustainable solutions to outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, in line with international law and principles of good neighborliness.
