Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed with Diyala Governor Adnan Mohammed Abbas the efforts being made to enhance security and stability in the province.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the Minister met with the Governor of Diyala at the ministry’s headquarters, and discussed with him a number of topics of common interest, most notably the security situation and the efforts being made to enhance security and stability in the province.
The Minister of Interior stressed, according to the statement, the importance of coordination and cooperation between the center and the provinces to reach the best ways to achieve community peace.
For his part, the Governor of Diyala praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Interior’s units and departments to provide the best services to citizens at the security and service levels.
