Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Wednesday will be very hot daytime with slight dust at places and some clouds, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be fine and will see scattered clouds later, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea at places.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be southwesterly to westerly at a speed of 3 – 13 KT at first, becoming northwesterly at a speed of 8 – 18 KT, gusting to 28 KT at places during the daytime. Offshore, it will be westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 8 – 18 KT, reaching 24 KT at places.
Sea state inshore will be 1 – 3 ft, rising to 4 ft at places. Offshore, it will be 2 – 5 ft, rising to 8 ft at places. Visibility inshore will be 4 – 9 km, while offshore will be 5 – 10 km.
