Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be dusty at first, hot to very hot with slight dust daytime, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will see slight dust at times with some clouds, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea till night.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 08 – 18 KT, gusting to 28 KT at places daytime. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 15 – 23 KT, gusting to 5 – 15 KT by night. Sea state inshore will be 2 – 5 ft, falling to 1 – 2 ft by night, while offshore, it will be 4 – 8 ft, falling to 2 – 4 ft by night. Visibility inshore will be 4 – 9 km, dropping to 3 km or less at first, while offshore visibility will remain between 4 – 9 km.
High and low tides are expected at various times across different areas. In Doha, high tide will occur at 03:38 and 17:42, with low tide at 00:45 and 11:03, and temperatures ranging between 36 and 44 degrees Celsius. Mesaieed will experience high tide at 04:25 and 19:42, with low tide at 03:14 and 11:19, and temperatures between 31 and 45 degrees Celsius. Wakrah will witness high tide at 03:09 and 19:02, with low tide at 01:31 and 11:00, with temperatures ranging from 34 to 43 degrees Celsius.
In Al Khor, high tide is expected at 17:24 and 05:47, with low tide at 00:06, and temperatures between 31 and 42 degrees Celsius. Ruwais will have high tide at 05:47 and 17:45, with low tide at 00:06 and 11:54, and temperatures ranging from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius. Dukhan’s high tide is predicted at 10:36 and 22:42, with low tide at 04:17 and 16:36, and temperatures between 32 and 36 degrees Celsius. Abu Samra will experience high tide at 03:50 and 08:09, with low tide at 09:36 and 10:04, and temperatures ranging from 29 to 39 degrees Celsius.
Sunrise is expected at 04:45 LT, and sunset will occur at 18:27 LT.
