Meteorology Department Forecasts Moderate Daytime Temperatures, Warns of Poor Horizontal Visibility

Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Monday will be misty to foggy at places at first, with moderate temperatures during the day and relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places at first. Offshore, the weather will be hazy at times, the report added.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 03-13 KT. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at 05-15 KT. The sea state inshore will range from 1 to 3 feet, while offshore conditions will vary between 2 and 4 feet. Visibility inshore is expected to be between 4 and 9 km, reducing to 2 km or less at places initially. Offshore visibility will range from 5 to 20 km.

The forecast also detailed tidal patterns and temperature ranges across various areas. For Doha, high tide is expected at 07:21 and 22:02, with low tide at 03:10 and 15:28, and temperatures between 18 and 29 degrees Celsius. In Dukhan, high tide will occur at 01:47 and 14:02, low tide at 07:52 and 20:19, with temperatures ranging from 11 to 22 degrees Celsius.

Mesaieed will experience high tide at 08:57 and 23:50, low tide at 04:17 and 16:23, with temperatures from 12 to 28 degrees Celsius. Wakrah is forecasted to have high tide at 08:37 and 22:17, low tide at 03:59 and 16:04, with temperatures between 16 and 23 degrees Celsius.

In Al Khor, high tide is at 07:25 and 21:59, with low tide at 02:34 and 15:42, and temperatures between 19 and 29 degrees Celsius. Ruwais will see high tide at 08:46 and 21:18, low tide at 02:53 and 15:10, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 23 degrees Celsius. Lastly, Abu Samra will have high tide at 01:29 and 14:04, low tide at 07:47 and 20:13, with temperatures from 12 to 23 degrees Celsius.

Sunrise is expected at 06:02 LT and sunset at 17:32 LT.
