Mekdam Holding’s Net Profit Falls 35% in First Half of 2026

Doha: Qatar-based Mekdam Holding (QPSC) reported a 35.09% decline in net profit for the first half of 2026, with earnings falling to QR12.204 million from QR18.804 million in the same period last year.

According to Qatar News Agency, data published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website showed earnings per share stood at QR0.072 for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared with QR0.111. The financial results indicate a significant year-over-year decrease in profitability for Mekdam Holding, impacting shareholders' returns.

The reduction in net profit suggests potential challenges faced by Mekdam Holding in maintaining its previous financial performance levels. The decrease in earnings per share further reflects the company's reduced profitability for the period. The company may need to explore strategies to address the decline in financial performance in the coming months.
