Doha: Mauritania has strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack on the State of Qatar, describing it as a blatant act of aggression and a clear violation of Qatari sovereignty. In an official statement issued today, the Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the strike as a flagrant breach of international laws and conventions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the statement affirmed Mauritania’s solidarity with Qatar and its support for all efforts aimed at safeguarding the security of the country and the safety of its citizens. Mauritania also called on the international community to respond firmly and decisively to the attack, warning that such aggression threatens stability in the Gulf region and worsens an already volatile situation.
