Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei endorsed Sunday Masoud Pezeshkian as the new president of the country after his victory in the snap election held across the country following the death of the late President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash in May. The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported that Khamenei endorsed Masoud Pezeshkian as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by endorsing the voice of the Iranian people in the presidential elections to officially embark on his duty, during ceremonies that were held in the presence of high-ranking officials in the country.
