Bardaskan: An earthquake measuring magnitude 5.0 on the Richter scale struck on Thursday Bardaskan county, northeast of Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Institute of Geophysics at the University of Tehran said in a statement that the quake occurred at a depth of 9 kilometers, 55 kilometers from Anabad district of Bardaskan, which is located 280 kilometers southwest of Mashhad city.
There have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquake so far.
