Kyiv: At least three people, including a child, were killed in a Russian attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa.
According to Qatar News Agency, the head of the city’s Military Administration announced that the attack, carried out by Russian forces, resulted in the deaths, including that of a child. Additionally, ten people were reported wounded, with two in critical condition.
Odessa, a Black Sea port city with a population of approximately one million, frequently finds itself a target for Russian attacks. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, has led to almost daily reports of military engagements, with each side claiming advances or successful defenses against the other. However, these reports have not been independently verified due to the complexities and dangers of the ongoing war.
