Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index gaining 72.42 points to reach 8,712.18 points, marking an increase of 0.84 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw substantial activity with 455 million shares exchanged, valued at KWD 116.9 million (approximately USD 356.5 million), spread over 27,306 transactions. The Main Market Index increased by 40.42 points to reach 7,881.67 points, reflecting an uptick of 0.52 percent. This was achieved through 223.18 million shares transacted in 14,110 deals, amounting to KWD 39.9 million (roughly USD 121.6 million).
The Premier Market Index recorded a gain of 83.99 points, reaching 9,349.85 points, up by 0.91 percent. This index saw 231.9 million shares exchanged across 13,196 transactions, with a total value of KWD 77 million (around USD 234.8 million). Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index rose by 71.06 points to settle at 8,076.77 points, up by 0.89 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 177 million shares executed in 8,905 deals, valued at KWD 31.9 million (approximately USD 97.2 million).
