Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday with the All Share Index losing 13.93 points to reach 8,817.46 points, marking an increase of 0.16 percent. A total of 326.8 million shares valued at KWD 70.6 million (approximately USD 216 million) were traded via 18,101 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index decreased by 84.98 points, reaching 8,254.90 points, a decline of 1.02 percent, with 210.6 million shares transacted through 11,773 transactions valued at KWD 28.6 million (around USD 87.5 million).
The Premier Market Index saw a slight gain, adding 2.74 points to reach 9,393.16 points, up by 0.03 percent, with 116.2 million shares traded through 6,328 transactions valued at KWD 41.9 million (approximately USD 128.2 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index fell by 133.65 points to reach 8,351.34 points, a decrease of 1.58 percent. This was through a stock volume of 86.3 million shares executed in 6,078 deals at a value of KWD 17.13 million (roughly USD 52.4 million).
