Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 12.13 points to reach 8,895.33 points, an increase of 0.14 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 652.17 million shares valued at KWD 147.2 million (roughly USD 448.9 million) were traded via 33,513 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase of 45.28 points to reach 8,458.03 points, up by 0.54 percent, through 441.2 million shares done via 24,017 transactions valued at KWD 76.4 million (roughly USD 233 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a growth of 4.46 points, reaching 9,443.95 points, up by 0.05 percent, with 210.9 million shares traded through 9,496 transactions valued at KWD 70.8 million (roughly USD 215.9 million). Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index increased by 33.06 points to achieve 8,759.86 points, up by 0.38 percent, with a stock volume of 310.6 million shares conducted in 13,258 deals at a value of KWD 51.7 million (roughly USD 157.6 million).
