Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 38.01 points to reach 8,857.17 points, an increase of 0.43 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 377 million shares valued at KWD 95.4 million (roughly USD 291.9 million) were traded via 27,165 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a decrease, going down by 12.27 points to reach 8,122.64 points, a 0.15 percent decrease. This was achieved through 211 million shares transacted via 17,500 deals valued at KWD 33.8 million (roughly USD 103.4 million).
The Premier Market Index, on the other hand, gained 52.18 points to reach 9,476.85 points, marking an increase of 0.55 percent. This was through the trading of 165.9 million shares conducted via 9,665 transactions valued at KWD 61.6 million (roughly USD 188.4 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 59.01 points to reach 8,379.51 points, a rise of 0.71 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 97.3 million shares conducted in 6,009 deals at a value of KWD 15.2 million (roughly USD 46.5 million).
