Doha: Qatar's Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has concluded its 2026 summer camps after weeks of cultural, artistic, and scientific activities involving nearly 190 children from different age groups.
According to Qatar News Agency, the program, held from July 5 to 29, featured 11 specialized camps across Katara facilities. These camps offered hands-on activities designed to develop children's creative, intellectual, and practical skills under the guidance of specialists in culture, arts, science, media, and heritage.
The camps covered various areas such as heritage and traditional crafts, theater, literature, photography, ceramics, visual arts, science, astronomy, religious studies, and other creative programs. Participants had the opportunity to explore their talents through interactive learning and teamwork.
Children took part in activities focused on Arabic language skills, creative writing, public speaking, acting, art, photography, and scientific exploration. Organizers highlighted strong engagement and enthusiasm among participants.
Katara emphasized that the summer camps reflect its commitment to nurturing young talents, strengthening children's connection with culture and heritage, and providing an educational environment that combines knowledge, creativity, and entertainment.
