Doha: The Investment and Trade Court has welcomed a judicial delegation from the Sultanate of Oman as part of efforts to strengthen institutional ties and exchange judicial expertise. HE President of the Investment and Trade Court, Judge Khalid bin Ali Al Obaidly, along with several judges, welcomed the visiting delegation. Al Obaidly affirmed that the upcoming phase would witness a qualitative leap in judicial work that serves the investment climate and bolsters confidence in the national economy.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Omani delegation was led by Judge Dr. Ali bin Hamad bin Salem Al Hashmi. The visit comes in preparation for the implementation of Oman's new Investment and Trade Court Law. During the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing on the Investment and Trade Court's jurisdiction and operational mechanisms. They also toured the court's facilities and various departments. Judge Dr. Ali Al Hashmi expressed his appreciation for the court's high level of preparedness, praising the development of its judicial work environment.
