Jordan’s King Arrives in Doha

Doha: HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Doha on Monday to participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit scheduled to be convened today. His Majesty and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and HE Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the State of Qatar Zaid Mufleh Al Lawzi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the summit aims to address pressing issues affecting the Arab and Islamic worlds. The visit of King Abdullah II underscores the importance of the discussions set to take place at the summit, reflecting Jordan’s commitment to regional cooperation and dialogue. The summit is expected to gather leaders from various Arab and Islamic countries to deliberate on strategies and collaborative efforts.
