Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Palestinian President Abbas Confer on Palestinian Territories

Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan met in Amman with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah emphasized Jordan’s enduring support for the Palestinian people in their pursuit of just and legitimate rights and the establishment of an independent state based on the two-state solution.

The Jordanian monarch assured that Jordan would continue to invigorate efforts both regionally and globally to bolster the resilience of the Palestinians on their national soil. He urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in confronting threats to the security of the Middle East region. Additionally, King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan’s condemnation of the Israeli aggression against Qatar.
