Doha: Jordan’s King Abdullah II stressed that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip is one of the darkest issues in the history of the United Nations General Assembly, and that force is not the basis for achieving security, but rather a prelude to greater violence.
According to Qatar News Agency, in his speech before the general debate of the 80th United Nations General Assembly held in New York Tuesday, the Jordanian King said that Arabs have extended their hands for nearly a quarter of a century to achieve peace through the Arab Peace Initiative, noting that recognizing the Palestinian state is not a reward, but an indisputable right.
