Doha: Jordan thwarted an infiltration attempt by four individuals across the northern border within its area of responsibility, after they attempted to cross the border illegally. Jordanian border guards deployed a rapid reaction patrol, arrested the infiltrators, and transferred them to relevant authorities.
According to Qatar News Agency, Jordanian authorities periodically announce the arrest of infiltrators, particularly along the northern and eastern borders.
