Doha: Jordan welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between Pakistan and Afghanistan following negotiations held in Qatar, which led to the establishment of mechanisms to consolidate sustainable security and stability between the two countries. Official spokesman for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Majali praised the mediation efforts made by the State of Qatar and Turkiye to reach this agreement, stressing Jordan’s support for all efforts to establish security and stability in the border areas between the two countries.
