Gaza: A Palestinian woman was martyred and several others, including children, were wounded on Saturday following an Israeli bombardment targeting the central Gaza Strip. Local sources in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces struck a tent sheltering displaced persons in Al Nasra Camp, located east of Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah, central Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of a woman and injuries to others.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israel resumed its war of annihilation against the Gaza Strip on March 18, following a two-month cessation of hostilities under a ceasefire agreement that came into force on January 19. Throughout the ceasefire period, however, Israel systematically violated the terms of the agreement, continuing to launch attacks on multiple areas across Gaza, resulting in further casualties.
The occupation authorities have also refused to implement the humanitarian protocol and have tightened the blockade on the Strip, which remains engulfed in an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
