Ramallah: Eight Palestinians were injured Saturday by Israeli occupation forces and settler attacks in various parts across the occupied West Bank. Three civilians, including two children, one of whom sustained serious injuries, were shot by Israeli occupation forces during the storming of Tubas city, while two other Palestinians were injured during settler assaults in the Al Qarinat area of Surif town, northwest of Hebron, local Palestinian sources reported.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sources indicated that three civilians were wounded following settler attacks in Deir Nizam village, northwest of Ramallah, while another individual was detained by occupation forces. Meanwhile, the same sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested two civilians from Jenin Governorate. The first was apprehended in Marka town during a special Israeli force raid on his family home in the old city of Jenin, while the second was arrested near the annexation and apartheid wall close to Jalqamus village.
Furthermore, occupation forces arrested a civilian in the Al Minya area, southeast of Bethlehem, following a brutal assault by settlers during the olive-harvest season. Cities, towns, and camps across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem are coming under daily raids, village invasions, land leveling, tree uprooting, and seizure of properties by occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, live and rubber bullet fire, and deployment of tear gas against Palestinians.
