Beirut: The Israeli forces’ attacks on southern Lebanon continued, in violation of the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024. The Lebanese National News Agency reported Sunday that an Israeli force infiltrated into the town of Ramyeh shortly after Saturday midnight, and proceeded to blow up a house before withdrawing at dawn.
According to Qatar News Agency, a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon went into effect on Nov. 27, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. The Beirut government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until Feb. 18, but the occupation forces remained at five points.
