Beirut: Two people were killed on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that the Israeli entity targeted a car on the Safad Al Batikh - Al Jumayjamah Road, leading to the death of two citizens.
According to Qatar News Agency, a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on November 27, 2024. The agreement stipulated the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the occupation remained in five locations and continues its violations.
