The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, affirmed his government's continuation in combating financial and administrative corruption in state institutions and departments.
He said in a speech opening of the "Baghdad International Dialogue" Conference that his government was formed after arduous work, and it is the 6th government since 2003, and drew an ambitious and comprehensive program for Iraq to follow with all its energy to restore its natural place among the countries that establish civilization, based on confidence in the country's capabilities, creating new job opportunities, combating poverty, expanding the social work network, and reviving health insurance.
Al Sudani stressed that his government will not tolerate any defect that may occur in the work, and is continuing to combat financial and administrative corruption in state institutions and departments. He pointed out that the biggest challenge is restoring the confidence of the Iraqi people, which has declined as a result dishonored promises.
Al Sudani inaugurated on Sunday, the 5th edition of "Baghdad International Dialogue" Conference, which is organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue under the title "Iraq: Twenty Years... What Next?", which will last for two days.
The "Baghdad International Dialogue" Conference is an annual dialogue gathering, which is held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and hosts many political, security and economic officials, in addition to academics and businessmen, to exchange views on the various challenges facing Iraq and the world alike, and to propose solutions to them
