Doha: Iraqi Minister of Oil Hayyan Abdul Ghani on Sunday met with Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al Kharabsheh, who is currently visiting Iraq, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of oil and energy. Iraq approved earlier this month the extension of the memorandum of understanding for the supply and transport of Iraqi crude oil to Jordan for an additional three months.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two ministers focused on strategies to improve the existing agreements and explore new opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector. The extension of the memorandum of understanding signifies a continued commitment to strengthening the partnership between the two countries in the oil and energy sectors.
